  • Rinse the surface thoroughly after washing with the soap solution and dry with a soft cloth.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can you describe to me the process involving an order with your company?

The whole process is designed for quality and speed. First, the client picks a stone, we than give the client an estimate based on their specific project. After that an order can be placed with us for a template. From the time the template is made our clients can expect a turnaround time of 10 to 12 business days.

What is the appropriate thickness for a granite countertop?

Standard thickness for a kitchen countertop is one inch and a quarter.

Do I have to call for an appointment to come down to your place? It would be best to call ahead of time to assure you that we will be there and are not out on another job. Simple Stone Solutions is open to the public Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm

Where do you operate?

Simple Stone Solutions operates within the tri state area.. We are a direct fabricator and installer of kitchen countertops, vanities, fireplace surrounds, and custom designs.

What is your payment policy?

Simple Stone Solutions accepts cash, checks, and credit card payments only. If payment is done by personal check we will not start the fabrication process until the check has cleared. All credit card payments will be made through paypal. Once the order is placed the grand total is broken up into two payments, one during the template, and the other at the end of the installation.

Do I have to buy the whole sheet/slab? Slabs are always sold intact. Buying random slabs is similar to buying fabric. Like a seamstress or tailor, your fabricator buys the raw material and sells you a completed installation. In the price is included the cost of transporting the material, making field measurements and templates, cutting, polishing, bringing the pieces to your job site and fitting them into place. How much material he needs is determined by the layout and the amount of waste. The fabricator will lay out your job in a way that will minimize the amount of waste material while maximizing the natural beauty of veining and pattern.
